Our History
Since 1987, Saracens has been dedicated to helping Australians build and enjoy their wealth. Originally founded as Stonehedge Pty Ltd ( a subsidiary of Stone & Partners), we became Saracens in 2004, maintaining our boutique approach and specialist expertise. Over the years, we’ve grown stronger, continuing to offer personalised financial services tailored to our clients' precise needs.
Meet Our Director
Philip Zappala (B. Comm, CPA, CFP)
Director & Financial Consultant
Philip has been providing financial planning advice to clients since 1994. He is a Certified Financial Planner and has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and is a CPA.
His knowledge and understanding of the technical and legislative aspects of financial services brings a superior level of experience to his clients. He is committed to providing a high quality of financial planning advice and believes the best outcomes are achieved when clients are equipped to make educated financial decisions based on objective analysis of their decisions. These attributes are particularly useful in retirement planning and superannuation strategies.
Phil also specialises in self-managed super funds, with the administration of testamentary trusts, and can guide you through many of the complexities of both planning and managing your investments.
Phil has been actively involved in the community, having been the President of Alstonville Swimming Club and Saint Joseph’s Parents and Friends Committee for a number of years. He was the treasurer of the Wollongbar Rugby Club for five years and is a keen rugby follower.
